About

Regional Outreach Cooperative

The Regional Outreach Cooperative (R.O.C.) is a Chattanooga initiative created to organize, standardize, and provide holistic outreach care to people experiencing homelessness. By partnering with like-minded organizations and agencies, we streamline access to services for those experiencing unsheltered homelessness and eliminate the duplication of services between service providers.

The R.O.C.’s team is comprised of a cooperative partnership between homeless outreach service providers in the Chattanooga/Hamilton County region and hosts a staff of 8 highly trained and specialized individuals, as well as, weekly and monthly volunteers. Currently, the R.O.C. is engaging anywhere between 150-250 individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness weekly. With each encounter, we are able to provide provisions like food, water, hygiene kits, toilet paper, poncho’s, trash bags, tarps, tents, sleeping bags, bug spray, hard warmers, and many other life changing supplies. Our week-to-week conversations with whom we serve may not directly resolve their situation right away, but it does go towards restoring their humanity.

Currently, the R.O.C. is partnered with 35+ community agencies, entities, faith communities, NGO’s, and other groups working to bring relief to homelessness.
